"Professional
Business Letter
Writing Service!"
Dear Friend or Courier
Business Owner
t
may seem like a
simple process...
yet why are many
large organisations
paying marketing and
direct response
professionals
thousands of pounds
to write their
letters and
promotions for them?
Guess what... it's
NOT that
simple!
The basics of
writing a good sales
or promotional
letter is not known
to many people, so
let me give you a
quick walk, "short
course primer
overview" of how I
create these types
of letters for
myself and my
consulting clients.
|
The
7 Step
Process
We Use
To
Create
Powerful
And
Persuasive
Proposal
Letters
That Get
Results
For Your
Courier
Business |
1. Say Something
That Get The Readers
Attention -
Now that may seem
obvious and yet 95%
of all the freelance
couriers that sends
out letters, flyers
or emails, is self
serving, innocuous,
with no interests or
benefits to the
recipient or the
client receiving it.
You have to get the
client or courier
company's attention
and to do that
you've got to say
something that is
critically and
essentially
important to
THEM and
them only.
2. Tell The
Client/Courier
Company Why They
SHOULD Be Interested
- Don't assume your
prospective client
or the courier
company you contact
for work obviously
knows the reason
why. Don't assume
they automatically
see the connection
between your service
and their
requirements.
Make a point to make
that connection for
them.
3. Tell The
Client/Courier
Company Why They
Should Believe What
Your Saying And Why
It's True - In
your letter,
establish the facts
of what you are
saying and
credentials it. You
want to produce
authoritative
evidence in your
communication that
demonstrates
instantly,
continuously and
compellingly that
what you're saying
is true and they can
believe it.
4. Prove It's
True - With
examples, case
studies,
testimonials,
references, with
quotes of research.
This kind of obvious
validation is
appropriate
depending on what
you are trying to
accomplish in your
letter(s) and who
you're targeting
with your letter.
You'll either be
more sophisticated
or less, more
embellished or
simple depending on
what client (private
company or courier)
you're trying to
impact.
5. Highlight And
Describe ALL the
benefits Of Your
Service -
Private clients or
courier companies
don't buy services
from you, they buy
the outcome of what
it is you're
offering.
Just like when you
go to Halfords to
buy a drill... what
you really want is
hole isn't that
right?
Private companies
don't want your
service, they want
your ability to
deliver or pick up a
package reliable,
safely and securely
right? WRONG! They
want to please that
customer who's
waiting for the
package.... the
spare part that will
get that broken
machine productive
again, the
restaurant owner
who's desperate for
that new menu's
you're delivering
from a printing
company...
Do you get the
picture? I've been
writing for my own
business and
professionally for
many years now, and
we even have a
website (www.acethatjob.com)
that helps job
seekers with the
right resume and
cover letters when
applying for jobs.
Your client/courier
company invest in
the result not the
feature (safe,
reliable and secure
is great but it is a
feature every
courier company
focuses on and
that's the
biggest mistake
they make when
trying to
differentiate
themselves in the
mind of the
prospect.
6. Tell The
Client/Courier
Company How To
Respond - We
create what's called
"Direct Response"
Letters. The terms
is pretty self
explanatory -- you
are directing the
recipient, or the
client/courier
company to a
response.
Not a manipulated,
but a controlled and
directed response.
You have to tell
them what they
should do, how they
should do it, why
they should do it,
and you have to tell
them when they
should do it or
guess what... left
to their own
devices, the vast
majority of
clients/courier
companies have a
sufficient supply of
diversions and
competing impacts on
their short
attention span and
valuable time.
We're exposed to
more than 70,000 ADS
per week so... when
you have the
client/courier
company's attention,
you don't ever want
to assume they will
know what to do
because, not that
they don't want or
NEED your service,
but because they get
diverted and
distracted.
That's why, while
you have their
attention, you have
to direct them all
the way and pass the
goal posts to action
and finally..
7. You Have To
Tell Them Exactly
What To Do - You
have to tell them
how to contact you,
email, phone, write,
visit a website, or
whatever it is you
want them to do.
Tell them what they
should do, how they
should do it, why
they should do it,
and when they should
do it.

"Can You
Afford
To Waste
The
Valuable
Opportunity
You Get
With
A
Potential
Client
For Your
Freelance
Courier
Business,
...
...By
Presenting
Them
With A
Self-Centred
And
Ineffective
Proposal
Letter?" |
This is probably the
biggest mistake many
freelance couriers
make. Hopefully the
7 steps I have
outlined above will
guide you in the
future, but in
reality there's more
too it...
You see once you
have the
client/courier
company's attention,
you have to draw
them into your
letter by adding
dimension and depth
to your proposal,
creating desire in
them for your
service to name just
a few.
The second component
of your direct mail
proposal letter is
the actual direct
mail package. And
it's called package
because it has a
number of strategic
and purpose driven
components inside it
depending on what
your goal is.
The first component
is the carrier
envelope. If the
envelope does not
get opened,
everything you're
learning now about
writing powerful
proposal letters are
hopeless wouldn't
you agree?
We have several
unique approaches to
getting the letter
opened and what you
have to understand
is this. Busy
clients and courier
companies have
what's called a
A-pile and B-Pile
sorting system for
letters.
If the letter is
personalized, with
an actual stamp
stuck on it and
looks timely and
personal, it will go
into the A-pile.

If however it looks
"mass produced" with
generic names (e.g.
Dear Business
Owner") it will go
into the B-pile and
ultimately in to the
waste basket or what
I like to call...
the "round file".
Then there's things
like using "teaser
copy", "lift notes"
and more when it
comes to creating
these types of
direct response
letters.
Needless to say, it
does take time and
effort, but NOT
knowing what to
write, how to
effectively
denominate the
benefits of your
services and how to
deploy those
benefits in a direct
mail response
letter, could mean
the difference
between having well
fed or skinny
kids... if
you know what I
mean. --
Introducing...
That's why we're
introducing and
bringing this
powerful service
right to your
freelance couriers
business because we
know not many people
are blessed with the
ability to write
effective letters.
... And that's why
successful
businesses and
business owners hire
professionals to do
this important work
for them.
You don't want to
"wing" something
like this... trust
me...

We
Create A
Custom
And
Personalised
3-Part
Direct
Response
Package
For Your
Freelance
Courier
Business.... |
One of the biggest
mistakes you can
make when soliciting
work from prospects
is to only
communicate your
intentions only
ONCE. That's like
taking your money
and having a bon
fire night with it.
You need to stay in
communication with
the prospective
client a minimum of
3 times and anything
up to 7 times or
more afterwards.
Trust me only
sending ONE proposal
letter is wasteful
and totally
in-affective. This
one tip alone is
worth your entire
investment for this
service. So here's
what we will do for
your freelance
business. You have 2
choices when you
solicit us to do the
work for you.
#1. You can
hire us to create a
complete 3-part
direct response
package for you
aimed at either
courier companies,
or
#2 we can
create the material
for private
companies like
printers, publishers
etc.
(slightly higher
investment for
creating this
material for private
clients/companies)
The reason for this
is because each of
these two groups of
business has
different
requirements and
needs. Private
companies and
courier companies
are each
communicated with in
a different style of
writing and the
steaks are higher
when it comes to
soliciting contracts
from private
companies directly.
But the process
basically looks like
this:
* We create a
3-part Direct
Response Mailing
Package For Your
Business.
The first initial
direct response
letter introduces
you, your service
and benefits tot eh
client/courier
company depending on
what group you
target.
This and all
subsequent letters
are composed using
the 7 steps outlined
earlier along with
other more in-depth
strategies.
* You deploy
the second follow-up
letter we have
prepared for you.
This letter
reiterates the
benefits of the
first letter and
makes a clear
connection between
the two so your
prospect can see the
dialogue or
communication,
carried forward from
the first letter.
This letter is very
important, and
making the
connection with the
first letter even
MORE so!
* The
third letter
connects the first
and the second and
re-iterates the same
and some additional
benefits of your
service. A
special
offer/promotion/coupon/discount/incentive/reward
etc. are offered and
the recipient are
eloquently led to a
call to action.
* A
Thank You-Letter,
designed by us, is
deployed AFTER the
desired response has
been achieved
(i.e. an opportunity
to go and see the
prospective client
in a informal or
formal meeting to
tell them about your
proposal)
*
We will create all
your suggested
"teaser copy"
(depending on what
client group you
decide to target),
as well as give you
a action planner
check list to
execute your mailing
effectively.
* Referral
Request Letter -
This one letter
alone could
potentially add an
additional 30-50% of
new business to your
service. We know how
to professionally
solicit referrals
and by the team you
learn how to do this
yourself, you'll
thank us later for
the increased
business you'll gain
from using it!
All material are in
Microsoft word
format and are
customized
exclusively for
YOUR freelance
courier business.
That is why we can
only take on a
handful of clients
at any one time
since this process
is so time
intensive.
So to summarize
what you get when
you hire our writing
services: - You'll
get:
1. The 3-part very
targeted and
specific 3 series
Direct Response
Letters.
2. The Thank You
Letter after desired
response has been
achieved.
3. Actual "Teaser
Copy" samples on an
actual envelope you
can copy for your
own.
4. Referral Request
Letter
5. Action Planner
Check List
*Please note
all work will be
prepared and emailed
to you in a
.zip file.
